Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says England boast some "fantastic" young players.

Redknapp even has his own fantasy team in his head and knows he would be spoiled for choice if it came to picking his own England side.

He said: "There are some fantastic young players in England at the moment.

"You look at Jack Wilshere and Kyle Walker and there is some real talent in this country.

"And some of the older players are still top class in my opinion, so there's a good group available to the manager. I was the biggest believer in the team we had at the World Cup in South Africa.

"Everything about that tournament seemed right for us but it didn't turn out like that.

"We've had some great managers - even the last one is top drawer if you look at his record - so it shows how tough the job is.

"Football's fickle. If you lose a couple of games you become the biggest you-know-what.

"Even the great Bobby Robson got grief. It goes with the job."
