Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has been encouraged in his pursuit of Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni.
Redknapp has the green light from Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to splash out on an experienced forward this summer and is turning to Toni over concerns for the fitness of Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Asked about where he will play next season, Toni, 32, said yesterday: "I have no idea."
