Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp feels their title charge will receive a boost from Europa League elimination.
Redknapp believes that is a big BOOST for his side as they chase a top four spot.
And he reckons it will be even better if Chelsea and City both finish third in their Champions League groups - and end up in the Europa League after Christmas.
Redknapp said: "I don't like to say it, but it wouldn't do us any harm to see Chelsea and City in the Europa League.
"It's harder than playing in the Champions League because of that Thursday night-Sunday afternoon schedule you get.
"You know most of the teams in the Champions League and you're not travelling to the far-flung corners of Europe.
"In the Europa League you're schlepping all over the place."
