Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp saw his team undone by QPR dazzler Adel Taarabt last night.
Redknapp refuted claims that players playing against former clubs, as Taarabt did, gives them added incentive to impress.
"Not really, he played against us at Tottenham this season and was useless," he said.
"I don't think that is anything really. He is a good player and has bags of ability.
"At the moment he is doing it and that is great - he has got nothing to prove to me, I always said he was a good player."
