Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has written off today's opponents Manchester City as a title threat.
Spurs pipped City to the prized fourth spot last season but such is the Eastlands club's spending power that the playing field is becoming increasingly uneven for Redknapp's men and the rest of the chasing pack.
"City will win the title sometime soon, I have no doubt about that," said the Spurs boss. "This season I would expect them to finish in the top four and after that they will only get stronger.
"In football you can certainly buy success. It happened at Blackburn a few years back when Kenny Dalglish was the manager and it's happening again at City.
"Roberto Mancini's not a fool. He knows, with the club's resources, he can build a squad capable of winning the title and he's building quickly towards that goal.
"They can go out and buy the best players in the world and pay them £200,000 a week and there's nothing anyone else can do about it. It's not great when a club with loads of money comes and nicks your best player but what can you do?
"I had it when I was at West Ham. Leeds were spending big money at the time and they came and got Rio Ferdinand, a great young player around whom we were building a team."
