Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp denies falling out with on-loan Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

He has rubbished those claims and said he would welcome Adebayor at White Hart Lane on a permanent deal.

Redknapp said: "Whoever said myself and Adebayor had a bust-up are talking absolute lies. I have never had one cross word with him.

"The whole thing is fabricated. We would love to keep him here but only the chairman can decide as the financials have to be sorted out."
