Tottenham boss Redknapp delighted with victory over Wigan

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp was delighted with victory over Wigan Athletic.

The Londoners romped to victory thanks to a Gareth Bale double and Luka Modric's first-half strike to put Redknapp's team just five points short of the top of the table.

Redknapp, who even performed an impromptu jig on the touchline after his team's second and third goals, said: "I've been sitting down all week. I kept dancing around like a two-year-old!

"It was nice to get on my feet again. The fans were great - I appreciated it.

"I am happy. We're back up there again. I keep looking at the gap behind us. We're 13 points ahead of Arsenal now - it's a nice lead."
