Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is delighted for Milan Mandaric after Sheffield Wednesday's promotion to the Championship.
The Guardian says after overseeing Wednesday's promotion, Mandaric received a text from Redknapp, with whom he had been cleared of tax evasion charges.
The Tottenham Hotspur manager said that Mandaric had got his reward for his ordeal and now he hoped for the same in the form of Champions League football with Spurs.
"This has been a very difficult year for me," said the Sheffield Wednesday chairman after the biggest crowd outside the Premier League - 38,082 - had seen their team return to the Championship. "I came very close to selling this club. My family was very hurt by the trial and my wife is still suffering because of it.
"I thought I might wait until the end of the season, clear the debt from the club and then move on. But what comes around goes around. I always hoped I would get my reward and this is it."
