Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits Jermain Defoe's Euros dream depends on him.

Redknapp has so far failed to give Defoe the starts he needs to convince England coach Fabio Capello about a recall.

Redknapp said: "It will be difficult for Jermain I would think. It is certainly not going to help him. But looking at him in midweek, he is ever so sharp."
