Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has revealed the day Neil Ruddock took him to a tribunal over a fine - and won.
However, the problem for Razor was that his lawyer actually cost him more in fees than the actual fine!
Redknapp revealed to Absolute Radio: "Yesterday we were laughing, I reminded him of the day, I think he was about the only player I even fined, and I fined him, he took a right liberty once, he went and played golf at Gleneagles and ended up having a fight with Mike Newell, and he was supposed to be here at home, he couldn't come to treatment. It was in the paper the next week, there was pictures of Razor bashing Mike Newell up at the golf club at Gleneagles.
"Yeah, so I fined him and we went to an FA Tribunal, and we turned up there, me and Peter Barnes, who was the secretary at West Ham United, ex-secretary of Tottenham, and Razor turned up with an Australian barrister, who was the cleverest man in the world this fella, and he tied me and Peter Barnes in knots, it was embarrassing. In the end we were just saying 'Leave us alone, we'll go home, give him his money back'. Anyway, Razor wins the case, they said 'No, you can't fine him'. So the barrister then puts he said 'Okay, fine, here's my expenses, here's my bill', and he put a bill in for £28,000, and they said 'I'm sorry, it's an FA, you don't get expenses, we don't pay your costs'.
"So Razor ended up having to pay him 28 grand, his fine was only 15, and I said to Razor 'You'd have been better off taking the 15 grand fine'.
"Unlucky Razor."
