Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has been recalling the time he went head-to-head with Pele!
Redknapp came up against the World Cup-winning legend while playing for the Seattle Sounders in the North American Soccer League (NASL) back in 1977.
Pele was turning out for the New York Cosmos in those days, and going head-to-head with him is something Redknapp will never forget.
"It was the 1977 Soccer Bowl in Portland against the New York Cosmos. In fact, that was the first team we played when myself and Geoff Hurst got over there," Redknapp told Hotspur magazine
"It was the opening of our stadium called the Kingdome, an indoor stadium in front of almost 60,000 people. It was an absolute sell-out.
"And Pele was still a fantastic player at that time, unbelievable. He had everything."
