Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has played down talk of a move for Newcastle United striker Andy Carroll.
Carroll has been linked with Spurs this week.
Yesterday, Redknapp denied making any approach for Newcastle forward Andy Carroll, adding: "I thought the transfer window had closed?"
