Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed his interest in Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan.
Forlan is keen to make up for his poor spell in England when he failed to make any impression at Manchester United. But Spurs will struggle to match his wages.
Redknapp said: "I like the look of the Uruguayans. Forlan would have another two or three good years in our League, but his wages may be a problem."
