Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is ready to bid for Manchester City winger Martin Petrov.
The Daily Mail says Redknapp remains a big fan of the Bulgaria winger but has been told he must sell before bringing any more new signings to White Hart Lane.
That might not be too difficult, with David Bentley, Roman Pavlyuchenko, Gareth Bale and Alan Hutton all up for grabs if the price is right.
Boss Redknapp sees Petrov bringing the same pace and attacking thrust to the left flank that Aaron Lennon gives Spurs on the right.
