New Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he couldn't consider bringing his former assistant manager Tony Adams with him from Portsmouth due to his Arsenal ties.

Redknapp confirmed: "I will not be taking Tony with me. I do not think that would go down too well because of his Arsenal links.

"Kevin is a good coach and we have worked together many times before. It will be good to have him back alongside me."
