Tottenham boss Redknapp: Ancelotti should keep Chelsea job for three more years

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says Carlo Ancelotti should keep the Chelsea job for at least another three years.

In his column for The Sun, Redknapp wrote: "When Carlo Ancelotti led Chelsea to the Double last season, it should have kept him safe for at least the next three years.

"Instead he finds his position under increasing speculation by the day - and I have to say that's a disgrace. This is a fellow who had an outstanding playing career and, incredibly, surpassed even that when he went into management.

"He's won the Champions League, Premier League, Serie A, Italian Cups, the FA Cup - you name it, Carlo's done it. And don't forget that for all Chelsea's little blip in mid-season, he could still end up making it two titles on the bounce this time as well.

"If someone told you a manager had done all that, yet was on the brink less than 12 months later, you'd have them certified. But that is exactly the case and it's got to be one of the most baffling things I have come across in all my years in football.

"I don't know Carlo that well, beyond seeing him when my Spurs side have played Chelsea, but I have nothing but admiration for the guy."
