Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp hailed Ledley King for his comeback in victory at Wolves.
King made his return despite having not played at all during preseason.
Redknapp said: "Ledley King came in and made a big difference for us today, he's not played a game, not kicked a ball. It's beyond belief that a man can come out, not play a single game or even train and come and play like he plays.
"It's unreal, he's not had a pre-season, he's not done anything and we'll put him away and wrap him in cotton wool until next Sunday now when we play Liverpool."
