Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed interest in Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill.
He admitted he would consider a move for Wanderers' England international if he could sell a number of fringe players, including David Bentley and Peter Crouch.
Asked whether he would be in the running to sign the 25-year-old centre-half, Redknapp said: "I've always been a big admirer but we'll wait and see.
"We need to shift one or two and then see how it pans out.
"I'm sure the chairman will be on the phone."
