Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp admitted it was a thrill to again see Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba.
The pair had an emotional embrace prior to the clash between the two clubs at Reebok Stadium last night and Redknapp was chuffed to see the 24-year old up and about and smiling again after his cardiac arrest at White Hart Lane in March.
"I'll never forget him getting wheeled down that tunnel. I'd be a liar if I said I thought I'd ever see him again because it was absolutely desperate. Nobody gave him a chance.
"I think the medical staff thought that night it was a bit beyond retrieval. To see him here tonight with a smile on his face is brilliant.""It's fantastic to see him," said Redknapp. "It was absolutely brilliant, to see him smiling, to see him alive. It was wonderful.
