Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp wants £30 million to produce the sort of team he believes the fans deserve.
"There have been some unbelievable players here down the years, some great names," Redknapp told the News of the World. "Jimmy Greaves, Alan Gilzean, Glenn Hoddle, Gary Lineker, Gazza . . . it was always such a wonderful club like that. But in recent years there's been something missing. They've lost their way a little.
"I really want to try get this club back to how it was, put us back to where we think we should be. And if I can get the three players I want in the summer I think we will have a terrific team that can really push on next season.
"I reckon it will take £30million to get them and I'll have to balance the books by selling four or more. But we have a good squad that can become a terrific squad with the right additions. So while it might be the end of the season there's still a definite buzz around the place.
"We are building a new stadium, a new training ground, so the club is on the move. And this team can get better and better."
