Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to back Moussa Sissoko this season.

ESPN says Pochettino could be ready to abandon plans to bid for Ross Barkley in the January transfer window.

The Everton midfielder looked set to leave Goodison Park this summer after making it clear he saw his future away from Merseyside.

But Spurs are considering a re-think.

Pochettino believes the previously derided Sissoko has improved considerably and negates the need for Barkley.
