Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has denied claims that Clinton N'Jie is set to join Marseille.
Reports are suggesting that the Cameroonian forward has undergone a medical with the French club and is set to join imminently after being left out of the North London club's pre-season tour of Australia.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of Tuesday's meeting with Juventus in Melbourne, Pochettino played down the speculation by stating that the 22-year-old had simply missed the trip down under due to an injury problem.
"N'Jie got a small injury a few days after we started pre-season," said Pochettino.
"He is back in London and was not available to come."
Pressed further on the future of N'Jie, Pochettino insisted that it was only a minor injury keeping him from coming to Australia.
The Argentine added: "He's got a small issue and he's not available to play."
