Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Mousa Dembele he can leave in January.
The People says Pochettino has told Dembele he is free to find another club in January.
The 27-year-old Belgian joined Spurs from Fulham for £15million in 2012 but has never managed to reproduce the form he showed at Craven Cottage.
The Argentinian has finally run out of patience with the player, who has won 59 caps for his country, and he will be allowed to leave White Hart Lane for around £7m when the transfer window opens on January 1.
Defender Kyle Naughton has also been told he can leave the club in January, with United States right-back DeAndre Yedlin due to arrive from Seattle Sounders.
