Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino feels Bournemouth rival Eddie Howe isn't ready for the England job.

Pochettino expressed his admiration for the 38-year-old and is backing him to push for the national team post one day.

He said: “It's never too soon, if you want it. If he has it in his mind to be manager of the national team and had the offer, it would be great for England.

"I like him a lot but that is a question for him. Every manager is different but his ideas are great. Everything I have seen from him is fantastic and I can repeat that I like him a lot.

“Eddie Howe and I share a lot of values and principles and for that I am happy to see how they have developed their game and how they play."
