Tottenham full-back Kyle Walker-Peters could not have asked for a better Premier League debut on Sunday, according to Mauricio Pochettino.
The 19-year old recorded 3 tackles, 82 touches and finished with 91% passing accuracy in Spurs 2-0 win over Newcastle United. For his efforts, the Englishman was awarded the game's man of the match award.
"He was fantastic. I'm very happy for him. I think his dream became true to play in the Premier League," said Pochettino.
"To be nominated man of the match was fantastic. He always tried to play to help the team, he showed very good quality. A better debut is impossible!"
