Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino insists goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is not for sale.

Pochettino remains adamant that the Frenchman will remain in north London as he tries to build on a promising first season in charge at Spurs.

"He has a contract and I think there is a lot of rumours about him," said the Argentine coach.

"But he is happy here and we are not worried about the situation.

"This first season was not easy but we have been able to achieve some positive things and we can see the club is moving in the right way. The new philosophy of the team is there now and we need time to develop that now.

"It is a big club with potential. I think it is a good opportunity for us to do our job in good conditions with great facilities. It is a special club that deserves to do well and win trophies."
