Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino aced his audition in front of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez on Tuesday night.

Going into the Champions League tie, it was revealed Pochettino had been considered by Perez before hiring Zinedine Zidane.

And Don Balon says after Tottenham's performance at the Santiago Bernabeu, Pochettino is back on the president's radar.

Perez knows Zidane isn't going to stick around forever - and has now placed Pochettino top of a shortlist of potential replacements.

The style of Tottenham's play and the young players Pochettino has developed impressed Perez, who has been talking up the Argentine to fellow Real directors since Tuesday night's 1-1 draw.
