Tottenham boss not too worried after ‘bad night’ against Newcastle

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino admits his side endured a below par evening on Sunday.

Spurs were beaten 2-1 by Newcastle United at White Hart Lane despite leading 1-0 at the break after Eric Dier's header.

The North Londoners conceded twice late in proceedings to be beaten for the first time since opening day and Pochettino said he would be looking at the tapes closely in a bid to see where his players went wrong.

"(Am I) concerned? No. In football you can always improve," said the Argentine.

"After the first half we were happy in the stadium but in the second half it was not the same, it was a bad night for us."

Spurs conceded to Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 74th minute before Ayoze Perez won it for the Toon in injury-time.
