Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino had words of praise for his young players in the wake of their loss to the MLS All-Stars.
The north London club were beaten 2-1 by the MLS select in Denver on Wednesday but the performances of a handful of inexperienced players, including Josh Onomah, Shaq Coulthirst, Harry Winks, Dele Alli and Luke McGee, only bodes well for Spurs according to the boss.
"It's a great experience for the young players and again, there are a lot of positive things to take from that," he told the club's official website.
"It's important for them to be involved in the first team because I think they are the future of the club."
