Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has escaped a charge from UEFA for an alleged gesture towards Shamrock Rovers fans last night.
The Spurs boss apparently raised a clenched fist to a small section of Rovers fans during his side's 4-0 victory at the Tallaght Stadium after being subjected to some offensive chants and then appeared to clash with home fans at the final whistle.
But UEFA have decided not to charge Redknapp as nothing was stated in match reports from the referee and a UEFA delegate.
"We can inform you that nothing was mentioned in the official reports about this and UEFA has not opened any disciplinary proceedings at this match," a UEFA spokesman told Press Association Sport.
