Harry Redknapp claims the rules which deny clubs the chance to appeal against players sent off for two bookings as "crazy". FIFA, the world governing body of the game, do not allow reviews of yellow cards, meaning Spurs could not ask the FA to look at Wilson Palacios' dismissal against Blackburn last week.
"It's a flawed system that you cannot appeal against a yellow card and get it rescinded if it was blatantly wrong," Redknapp said.
"The same thing happened last weekend to Glen Johnson at Portsmouth.
"It's crazy really, they surely could look at that and say it was a wrong decision. He hasn't made contact with the player so it shouldn't count."
