Tottenham boss backs Fulham counterpart for manager of the year

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson gets Harry Redknapp's, his Tottenham rival, vote for manager of the year award. The Cottagers looked set for relegation a year ago but Hodgson has turned around their fortunes, with Redknapp believing the achievements of the former Inter Milan coach should be recognised as this year's top boss.

"My vote would go to Roy Hodgson, he has done a fantastic job at Fulham, taking them from fourth from bottom last season when they had to win their last game to probably a European spot unless we can stop them," Redknapp said.

"Obviously Sir Alex (Ferguson) doesn't need another managers' award because he's won so many already. He's done an incredible job at Manchester United yet again, winning the championship and reaching the final of the Champions League.

"But I would like to see one of the other lads win it for a change, David Moyes has also had a great season."
