Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has again poured cold water on a January move for Porto star Joao Moutinho.

AVB sees Moutinho as the ideal replacement for Luka Modric, now of Real Madrid.

But he warned: "I'll hardly attempt in January. Generally the market is very complicated and more expensive then. And it is also unlikely that we'll continue to try to buy him, since we'll have back Scott Parker."
