Porto star Joao Moutinho is back in the sights of Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas.
The Daily Mail says Modric will not be allowed to complete the move to Real Madrid until the London club have signed a replacement.
Moutinho remains on Villas-Boas' radar and the Portuguese is set to ramp up his summer spending in light of Modric's proposed move.
