Tottenham defender Gareth Bale played 90 minutes behind closed doors against QPR as he looks to step up his recovery from injury. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp told the club's official website: "Gareth was involved as he is coming back from injury and we wanted to get a game into him and one or two of the lads played, including Gomes and he was fine."
