Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender is a target for Tottenham.

The Sunday Telegraph says officials from the north London club will travel to Germany next week to thrash out the deal.

Spurs could face competition for defensive midfielder Bender, as rivals Arsenal were linked with a £22m bid for the 26-year-old earlier in the summer.

Barcelona were also credited with an interest but signing Arda Turan appears to have quashed those reports.
