Tottenham ask Arsenal fans for more money

A box office blunder could cost Tottenham tens of thousands of pounds, reports the Daily Mirror. Spurs told Arsenal tickets for the match at White Hart Lane would cost up to £37 and the Gunners sold their 3,500 allocation.

But the tickets should have been priced up to £47 - and now both clubs are attempting to retrieve the balance.

"Arsenal have written to us to ask for another tenner but we've got our tickets and there is nothing they can do," said one Arsenal fan.

"They're politely requesting we send more cash. We are politely declining.

"If they think we are going to hand over a tenner to that lot down the road they have got another think coming."
