Aaron Lennon's permanent move to Everton is in doubt according to reports.

The Express and The Guardian both suggest that Tottenham are set to price the Toffees out of a summer move for the winger who comes out of contract at White Hart Lane next summer.

Lennon, 28, joined Everton on loan in January and has impressed under Roberto Martinez since his arrival at Goodison Park but it appears as though Spurs may make it difficult for him to leave permanently.

It is believed that the north Londoners want £9million for the 21-time England international but Everton are reluctant to meet that asking price.
