Benfica have attempted to scare off Tottenham from their young defender David Luiz.
The Times says Tottenham have inquired about Luiz but Benfica have demanded about £35 million for the Brazilian centre half.
Barcelona have also asked about Luiz after allowing new signing Keirrison join Benfica on-loan for the new season.
