Tottenham are expected to announce the dismissal of sports director Damien Comolli.
The Daily Mail says Comolli is expected to pay the price for Tottenham's dismal start to the season when club chairman Daniel Levy returns from a business trip to the US next week.
While Levy should take ultimate responsibility for the crisis, Comolli will be made the scapegoat for sanctioning what has amounted to a disastrous £100million transfer policy.
Spurs have signed Roman Pavyluchenko (£13.8m), Luka Modric (£16.5m), Vedran Corluka (£8.5m) and Giovanni di Santos (£8m) while selling Robbie Keane (£20.3m), Dimitar Berbatov (£30.75m) and Jermaine Defoe (£9m) to balance the books.
