Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido says striker Alvaro Negredo will not come cheap for any interested clubs.
Tottenham and Atletico Madrid are showing significant interest in the 27-year old but del Nido has made it clear that the Spanish side will not be forced into a sale this summer.
"We are not going to undersell Negredo or any other player," he told AS. "If you ask me I would like him to stay.
"I hope he does and continues to score many goals for Sevilla. We are used to the pressure there is in these cases but we are evidently not going to undersell him."
He added: "He will only go if the right offer arrives. If it doesn't, he will stay, he has another four years left on his contract."
Negredo, who netted 25 league goals last season, is valued at £17million on the transfer market.
