Former Tottenham defender Ledley King admits he would like to see the Gareth Bale transfer saga involving Real Madrid resolved soon. "You wish the (transfer) window was a little bit shorter and that everything was out of the way," Spurs ambassador King told Sky Sports News.

"But everyone's professional and there is always going to be speculation around top players.

"The players we've lost, we've never wanted them to go. We've managed to keep hold of (most of) them."
