Tottenham are prepared to allow David Bentley and Jonathan Woodgate to leave on loan in the January transfer window. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is attempting to sign England legend David Beckham, which would further restrict Bentley's chances.
Redknapp also confirmed Championship Cardiff have enquired over the availability of injury prone central defender Jonathan Woodgate.
Ledley King could yet require surgery on his troublesome groin problem, and keepr Carlo Cudicini may also go under the knife.
Redknapp said of Cudicini: "He has a problem with his shoulder and a problem with his knee.
"He might need a bit of surgery and he could be out for a couple of months."
