Tottenham are on red alert after Sevilla confirmed they could be forced to sell star striker Alvaro Negredo.

Sevilla are keen to extend Negredo's contract but it is unsure whether he is willing to commit to the club beyond his current deal, which expires in 2013.

Alejandro Camano, who represents Negredo, said: "He has a contract until 2013. Sevilla wants to renew it but that does not mean his future is indeed in Seville."
