Tottenham will not block Gareth Bale from speaking to interested clubs this summer.

The Daily Star says when Bale signed his new four-year deal at Spurs last summer, it was agreed he would be allowed to talk to a select group of named clubs if they showed interest.

Real Madrid are one of those and are hoping to open a dialogue with Tottenham and the player in the next few weeks to setup one of the biggest deals of the close season.
