Sandro will move to Tottenham for a £6.5 million fee, it has been revealed.

Internacional confirmed yesterday that the midfielder was on the brink of joining Spurs.

The Sun says Spurs expect to agree a £6.5million four-year deal for Brazilian ace Sandro this week.

The Internacional star, 20, will join in the summer after talks between Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and Sandro's agent Luiz Paulo Chignall.

Inter president Vittorio Piffero said: "Negotiations first began last summer and are now at a key stage. The deal is done and waiting to be signed this week. I do not expect any change because of the agreement between all the parties."

Midfielder Sandro said: "I've been learning for a month and by the summer hope I'll be well advanced with the language."
