Bottom of the Premier League Tottenham scraped through to the Uefa group stages with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Polish champions Wisla Krakow. Arkadiusz Glowacki diverted a cross into his own net just before the hour mark at Stadion Wisly to extend Spurs' lead from the first leg, but Pawel Brozek's late strike set up a nervy finale.
Ledley King is hoping Spurs can build on this 1-1 draw
The North London skipper, told Five: "It was very important to get through.
"A lot has been made of our start and we've not been good in the league - but we've had a good result in the Carling Cup and now we are through in the UEFA Cup so hopefully things can pick up.
"We knew it was going to be tough coming here. The pitch wasn't great - a bit bobbly - and we had to fight for every ball. But we showed some character."
