Tottenham have added Schalke attacker Sidney Sam to their Bundesliga shopping list.

The Telegraph says Sam can play as either a striker or off the flank and the 27-year-old could be available in a cut-price deal after being indefinitely suspended by Schalke at the end of last season.

Schalke have insisted there is no way back for Sam at the club and Tottenham are now considering whether or not to pursue a deal.

Stuttgart striker Timo Werner is also interesting Spurs.
