Tottenham star Rafael van der Vaart has urged Borussia Dortmund attacker Mario Gotze to wait before making the move to England.

Gotze is a target for Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea leading up to the January market.

And former Hamburg midfielder Van der Vaart said: "He undoubtedly has a great career ahead, but I would advise him to have one or two years more at Borussia.

"He's still young and can later go to the Premier League. He can play an important role."
