Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen says he didn't try anything different when captaining Denmark yesterday.
Eriksen led the Danes to a 3-2 friendly win over the USA. It marked the 50th game for his country.
"I didn't really say anything (to his teammates). Maybe others said something, but not me, it was not that much different than normal. I was still the same player, it was not a big difference, I think," said the midfielder.
"I am honored and pleased to already have achieved this. It is a record that I could have reached in the past, but it does not matter."
On the captaincy, he added: "I have nothing against it . Now I have tried it and maybe do it again sometime in the future, but it's not something I focus on."
